Wood/Coal based powder activated carbon is made from coconut shell, sawdust, coal or anthracite. 
As one kind of economic commodities, it can be recycled after use. With high capacity of 
adsorption, pigments or odor can be removed by it quickly in solvent or air. And because this
character, it is widely used in food, alcohol, and beverage factory, oil industry, or pharmaceutic
industry.

Specific surface area of ctivated carbon powder is much larger than activated carhon granules.
And with high strength, our activated carbon powder is durable. When it is put in solvent 
or exposed in air, air currents or liquid will blow through it, hazardous gas macro-molecules of
poisonous gases will remain in these holes.

Large surface area and holes on activated carbon powder is also the reason why it is as carrier
for many catalysts, and generally used in the chemical industry. Besides these, because of the
character, it is also necessary to water purifying, sewage disposal system, or recycling of waste
water from the boilers in power station.

Application

 

1.Filter cotton, as the element of purifier, is made from activated carbon powder.

2.In waterworks, activated carbon powder will be used in purification of water from river to absorb
chloride or remove alga or other macromolecule.  

3.It is common in waterworks, no matter purifying the water for home, or produce mineral water.

4.For eflluent treatment in electronics or heavy industry, money invested for sewage disposal
system, which depends on activated carbon powder, is limited.

Activated carbon powder is usually made from coal or anthracite. But different from activated carbon
granules, it have to be milled in ball mill before put into storehouse.
Besides, ordinary activated carbon which made through physical method (Steam, CO2 and mix of gases
including oxygen will react with coal / anthracite in furnace), we also provide sodium / potassium
hydroxide impregnated actiivated carbon powder made through chemical method.    

Loss on ignition makes sure of effectiveness of porous activated carbon powder. And because
of large specific surface area, the our powdered activated carbon can absorb other substance in solvent
or gases efficiently.
