Coal  Based Granular Activated carbon is made from coal or anthracite.

Coal or anthracite will be put into pulverizer or crusher to processed into powder at first. After
that, these powder as material will be carbonized and activated in furnace at 850 ~ 950 ºC. Finally, 
these coal based granular activated carbon  will be selected by sieves of different type and sold to our clients
according to their different requirements of size.

With high strength, our activated carbon granules is durable. And because of the small holes
separated in it regularly, it can adsorb macro-molecules of odors, or other kinds of hazardous
substances quickly in quantity. When it is exposed in air, or air currents blow through it,
macro-molecules of poisonous gases will remain in these holes. This principle is also the reason why
it is as carrier for many catalysts, and generally used in the chemical industry. Besides these, because
of the character, it is also necessary to water purifying, sewage treatment, or recycling of waste water
from the boilers in power station.

Application

1.It can purify effluent or air from heavy industry. 

2.As the catalyst carrier, it is used in oil factory to help remove mercaptan. Or in textiles, it is used as 

catalyst carrier for Vinylon in production. 

3.It is common in water purifier, no matter purifying the water for home, or produce mineral water 
As the element of water purifier, it can remove the chloride alga in water. And it also necessary to
refine water by electronic equipment for labortory. 

4.It is generally used in production of activated carbon felt.

With the increase of temperature, value of iodine and methylene blue adsorption will increase,
but hardness of activated carbon, reaction rate and ratio of yield will decrease. Meanwhile, loss
on ignition and ash content will increase, with more air current blow into furnace when temperature
continue increases.
So according to 8 years experience, our technicians will control the temperature during cabonization
and activation. And our coal based granular activated carbon ususaly activated in furnace at 850 ~
950 ºC.

The Production process of coal based granular activated carbon:
Raw material→Pulverization→Drying→Carbonization→Activation→Storage→Delivery
